lastnight b.e.t. aired an amazing documentary paying tribute to the women in hip hop, honoring the greatest, even down to the latest. it's no surprised that i was glued to the tube, especially for their introduction into the life of my role model miss lauryn hill. i was beyond teary eyed and elated that so many people love and respect such a great woman, that kind of support we all know lauryn needs. i was also excited that they honored another amazing artist, misses " i cant stand the rain" missy elliott, not to mention the greats like mc lyte, queen latifah and roxanne shante. what an amazing event that i wish b.e.t. would make into a series..women in hip hop have a voice..some just choose to put the wrong messages into the atmosphere, nevertheless we are here to stay
